At Lennox India, we have about 500 employees, of which close to 100 are women. It is important to us that our leadership team is also as diverse as our workforce. We have 10 women in the leadership positions, that comprise of 18% of the management. Women at Lennox India are given equal opportunity to take up leadership positions, and we invest heavily in trainings to ensure that there is no bias in the hiring and the training process and ensure that women also are well equipped to take on these positions.
Diversity and Inclusion goes beyond women, and at Lennox India we understand this. We do not have any bias against the LGBTQIA+ community, and we are inclusive of them. At a town hall in April 2019, the CEO of Lennox International Inc., Todd Bluedorn spoke candidly and expressed his views on Diversity and Inclusion. He reinstated and reiterated our commitment to ensuring that there is no discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ community too.
In June 2019, we walked the talk by allowing employees from this community to include their partners in the insurance coverages offered by the company. We periodically communicate through various forums about our organization’s views on the LGBTQIA+ community through various forums to ensure that everyone feels included, regardless of their sexual orientation. We are dedicated to ensuring that all employees work in an environment free of harassment, violence, and discrimination. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, national origin, disability, or any characteristic protected by applicable law. We do not tolerate harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment.
